Finca Don Rafa´s

Don Rafa ( Rafael Martinez Martinez ) was the former owner of the farm and the father of a family. He was a simple, hard-working man who farmed on his property and always no matter the season of the year, had something to offer to the public. Therefore, people from the surrounding areas would always come to his property to buy what he had to offer, and when they were heading towards his farm, they would say, "Let's go shofping at Finca Don Rafa's."In honor of this brave and tireless man, who is no longer with us, we decided to keep the previous name for the carrent project and only added the adventure theme to represent what is now "Finca Don Rafa's adventure tours”. Finca Don Rafas declared a protected area 25 years ago. During that time, 5hectares have been reforested, and another 5 have been left for agricultural use. In addition, there is a camping area and an activity operation center within the agricultural zone. The rest of the farm continues to be a reserve to keep the local flora and fauna protected. In 2020, we proudly received the Ecological Blue Flag in recognition for our work and effort to look after nature and the local environment.
